Vivo’s new V40 Lite model is preparing to make an ambitious entry into the mid-segment smartphone market. The device was recently revealed in the Bluetooth SIG and GCF certifications, and now thanks to a new leak, we have learned more about the device’s design and specifications.
The leak was shared with 91Mobiles by famous tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore. Vivo V40 Lite was also spotted in the IMEI database, but these certification images did not provide significant details. However, this latest report reveals the full technical specifications and design of the device. This model will likely be the global variant that will be available in the European market.
According to the leaked images, Vivo V40 Lite has a stylish design with curved edges and thin frames. There is a punch-hole camera positioned in the center on the front of the device. On the back, there is a large circular camera island and Aura ring LED light. The volume control buttons and power button are located on the right edge. The middle frame appears to be made of plastic material. The device will have at least two color options: White and Claret Red.
As for the specifications, Vivo V40 Lite has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FHD + resolution. The device is equipped with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor and has 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage capacity. The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens and 2-megapixel sensor on the back. On the front, there is a 32 megapixel selfie camera.
Vivo V40 Lite comes with a 5,500mAh battery capacity and offers 44W fast charging support. Other noteworthy features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual SIM support, IP64 water and dust resistance, and 8GB virtual RAM expansion support. The device is expected to come out of the box with the Android 14-based FunTouch OS operating system.
