iQOO 13 specs leaked, offers a major upgrade over iQOO 12

Many smartphone brands in China are preparing to launch new flagship models in the last months of the year. The iQOO brand does not lag behind in this race and plans to introduce the iQOO 13 model in November. However, unlike previous years, this time the iQOO 13 Pro model may not be released together with the standard model. The main specifications of the iQOO 13 revealed on Weibo indicate that the device will be a significant upgrade over the iQOO 12.

Introduced last year, iQOO 12 offered 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and an optical fingerprint sensor integrated into the screen with its 6.78-inch AMOLED screen. The device was equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB storage, 5000 mAh battery and 120W fast charging support. It was also resistant to water and dust with IP64 certification.

According to rumors about the new iQOO 13 model, the device will have a flat OLED screen offering 2K resolution. It will also come with a single-point ultrasonic fingerprint sensor integrated into the screen. There will be a “large size” x-axis linear motor to enhance the gaming experience. Although it has not been confirmed yet, the device is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. The new model will be more resistant to water and dust with its improved IP68 certification.

The iQOO 12’s triple camera system included a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 64-megapixel 3x periscope camera. The iQOO 13 will also have a 3x periscope zoom camera, but it is unclear whether the same telephoto camera will be used. There is no information yet about the other cameras of the device.

Although there is no detailed information about the battery and charging speed yet, it is known that the top model of the device will have 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage. iQOO 13 will be offered to users with more advanced features and innovative technologies compared to its previous model.
