The former employee said that he did not want to work on the artificial intelligence Titanic, which is why he failed. He also expressed concerns about artificial intelligence systems that can surpass human capabilities, called artificial general intelligence (AG). These systems are currently only considered theoretically. But it’s an idea that has attracted the attention of companies like OpenAI.

Several former employees have previously come forward accusing managers of ignoring these concerns and obstructing oversight. Considering its constantly changing corporate structure, the importance OpenAI attaches to security is also questioned.

According to one of the former employees, it is not possible to develop any new technology, such as artificial general intelligence technology, with zero risk. The employee said he would like to see the company take all reasonable steps possible to prevent these risks.

As a result, we are still a long way from a true artificial intelligence that can surpass human intelligence. Experts also emphasize that the technology may not go anywhere.
