Google continues to work on new features to reach more users with the Pixel series. According to leaked information, Google will bring a new feature called Adaptive Touch Sensitivity to the Pixel series. Here are the details…
Google Pixel will get Adaptive Touch Sensitivity feature
Android reviewing source codes AndroidPolic team discovered a new feature for the Pixel family in the source codes of the new version. Judging by the code itself, it will allow future and current Pixel phones to adjust the screen’s touch sensitivity based on environmental factors, activity, or whether a screen protector is applied.
The Pixel 8 series can detect screen protectors, and when you apply a protector, the system asks you to increase touch sensitivity. However, Google will expand this feature in the Android 14 QPR3 Beta 1 version.
For example, when the weather is cold, your Google Pixel device will increase its touch sensitivity so you can use the phone with your gloves. It is not yet known whether older Pixel phones or only future phones will support it. But the Pixel 8 series will likely get the feature, as Android Police found the string on a Pixel 8 phone and it already supports automatic screen saver detection.
Pixel 9 will have a third rear camera for the first time, ensuring that all users can enjoy a quality telephoto camera, regardless of the size of the Pixel 9.
