Some details of the Xiaomi SU7 model, introduced in December, were kept secret. New details were shared about the car, which is stated to begin deliveries in the first half of 2024.

The first official images of the SU7’s interior have been released along with design progress studies. Taking into account the feedback from electric vehicle owners, Xiaomi included physical buttons in the interior design.

The last image features a flat-bottomed steering wheel with touch buttons and two round controllers on either side of the steering wheel. The screen on the center console, which resembles the Nio and XPeng design language, is positioned horizontally, similar to Tesla models.

In the area just below the driver’s right hand, there are buttons for air conditioning, ride height and rear wing spoiler adjustments. In the vehicle with keyless start feature, the start/stop button is positioned at the top.

It is possible to say that SU7 is suitable for sporty purposes with its driver-oriented interior, sports seats offering a low seating position, and low front panel providing a wide viewing angle with curved front fenders. At the same time as the interior reveal, Xiaomi shared another video from its winter testing sessions in northern China.

The company is ramping up production to ensure the waiting list doesn’t put off potential buyers. Unofficial sources claim that the SU7 will start at 300,000 Yuan (39,100 euros) for the entry-level 295 hp model and 361,400 Yuan (47,300 euros) for the 673 hp Max version.
