New Apple Watch SE may appeal to kids
Apple launched a new website in July encouraging parents to buy cellular-connected Apple Watches for their children. “Apple Watch for your kids” campaign highlights the benefits of Apple Watch for younger users, such as location tracking, options to call parents, and activity tracking. Adults can set up their child’s watch with their own iPhone and enable features to prevent it from being used during school hours.
Apple may offer the plastic-cased Apple Watch SE in a range of new colors that aren’t possible with aluminum. We may see an Apple Watch in more vibrant colors, such as the iPhone 5c model, which was sold together and was not popular. The plastic material will also make the Apple Watch SE easier to distinguish from standard Apple Watch models.
