Huawei Pura 80 series may come with Kirin 9020
In a post on Weibo, DirectorShiGuan says that the Huawei Pura 80 series scored 1.2 to 1.3 million points in the AnTuTu benchmark, which would mean more efficient performance than previous generations. It is thought that the chipset used here will probably be Kirin 9020.
Some sources had previously announced that Kirin 9020 received 1.25 million points in the comparison. This is considered to be a figure that will be within the expectations for the Huawei Pura 80 series and may indicate that it will be used in flagships.
Kirin 9020 chipset has a 12-core architecture. It consists of two processors at a maximum frequency of 2.5 GHz, six at 1.8 GHz and four at 1.55 GHz, as well as the Maleoon 920 GPU, which provides 40 percent higher performance compared to the Kirin 9010.
The new chip has gone through various tests to show its true performance, which is above its predecessor but still behind the competition. But the Kirin 9020 shows that Huawei continues to make progress in the Chinese chip industry.
