Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design introduced

Honor announced its new luxury smartphone, the Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design model, which is based on the Magic 7 Pro model and comes with small but effective improvements. This device, which aims to offer a high-level user experience, attracts attention with its premium features and striking design.

Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design has a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED screen. The screen, which supports 1 billion colors, provides images in Full HD + resolution. Although Honor technically uses a panel exceeding 1.5K resolution, it does not use this phrase in its marketing materials. While the screen is among the best in its class with its 5,000 nits peak brightness, it is ten times more resistant to scratches and drops thanks to its special glass coating. In addition, the fingerprint reader on the device no longer works with optical but ultrasonic technology, which offers a significant improvement in terms of security and speed.

The rear camera of the device retains the combination of 50 MP main camera, 200 MP portrait telephoto lens and 50 MP ultra wide angle used in the Magic 7 Pro. However, Honor has significantly improved the stabilization in 60 fps video recordings by using a 1,200-point LiDAR solution in the periscope lens. This technology was first introduced in the Magic6 RSR model.

On the front, there is a 50 MP main selfie camera and a 3D sensor that offers more natural depth effects in portrait mode.

Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design comes with the latest software, MagicOS 9.0. This software brings many innovative features such as personal assistant, artificial intelligence-supported translation and two-way noise reduction in calls.

On the connection side, the device supports Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi, as well as Honor’s specially developed device. C2 chip It offers wider 5G band coverage. This chip provides uninterrupted connection when switching between the cellular network and Wi-Fi. Additionally, the device supports two-way satellite connectivity, but this feature is only compatible with China’s Beidou satellite system and is not active on global models.

Honor Magic 7 RSR comes with a battery with a capacity of 5850 mAh. This battery offers 100W wired and 80W wireless charging support. Honor’s specially developed E2 chip was used in the device to increase charging efficiency and extend battery life.

The device, which has IP68 and IP69 certifications, is equipped with two nano SIM card slots, NFC support, IR blaster and stereo sound features. The model, offered in two color options: Provence Purple and Agate Ash (Grey), is inspired by the iconic colors of Porsche vehicles.

How much should you pay for the Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design?

The price of the device was determined as 7999 yuan (38597 TL) for 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage and 8999 yuan (43422 TL) for 24 GB RAM + 1 TB storage. The release date of the model, which is currently offered for sale in China, to international markets has not yet been determined.
