SpaceX Rocket Explosion Changed Flight Routes

SpaceX, founded by Elon Musk, continues its aviation and space activities without slowing down. In this regard, the company, which is currently conducting test flights of the state-of-the-art spacecraft Starship, experienced an unfortunate incident. The rocket exploded in the air, causing debris to rain down on the world. This disaster, which caused a very interesting sight to emerge, also changed the flight routes of the planes.

SpaceX encountered an unexpected problem during the seventh test flight of its Starship rocket on Thursday. Starship Super Heavy broke up in midair shortly after separating from its rocket, causing debris to rain down over the Caribbean. Although social media posts focused on the scene caused by the exploding rocket, the American Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) warned pilots in the region about the “Starship rocket debris danger area”. According to initial reports, many planes had to change their routes and some flights were canceled outright.

SpaceX announced that connection with the rocket was lost immediately after Starship separated from Super Heavy and that they were investigating what caused the explosion. On the other hand, Super Heavy successfully completed its mission and landed by being captured by mechanical arms located at the company’s base in Texas.

An interesting statement on the subject came from NASA President Bill Nelson. “These tests are difficult, but each one brings us a little closer to the Moon and Mars,” Nelson congratulated the SpaceX team.
