OpenAI‘s tool to create video from text Sora made his first music video We shared it with you. Today, Sora is here with a new music video. The new 4-minute video released by songwriter and singer Ernest Weatherly Greene Jr., known as Washed Out, was created by OpenAI’s artificial intelligence video generator Sora Prepared with.
The video, created with the prompts of director Paul Trillo, came to life by bringing together the 55 small clips that emerged as a result of these prompts in Adobe Premiere. The consistency of the characters in the video attracted attention. In the requests, not only the details of the characters but also the shooting angles and the movements of the characters were specified in detail.
More created by Trillo Sora As in the other videos, flight effects were used in this video as well. According to the information shared, it can take at least 15 minutes to create each clip. Trillo states that it prefers not to take still images shot or created elsewhere and feed them to AI to add movement. The director instead states that he only uses Sora’s text-to-video creation abilities.
Trillo states that although a small retouching work was done in After Effects, no major changes were made to the clips. In total, the director worked for six weeks to create the 55 clips that went into the final video, Trillo explains:
As for time, productions with Sora can take between 15 minutes and an hour, depending on how much you use, the length of your clips, and the size of the resolution. So there’s a lot of variability in terms of rendering time. But with 700 clips, you can expect it to take more than a day to render. I even worked on it for multiple days, I think about six weeks.
The video tells the story of a couple’s experiences during their school years, when they have a baby, and as they grow older. The video includes scenes taking place in school corridors, classrooms and supermarkets. Paul Trillo In a post shared on X He stated that this video was an idea that could have been realized 10 years ago, but he later abandoned this idea. Trillo “I was finally able to implement this idea.” he said.
The realism of the images created fascinates the audience with Sora. While we don’t think Sora will replace traditional filmmaking in every field, we can say that it offers a new way to realize shots that cannot be realized due to costs.
