Trendyol has become an important actor in e-export by carrying Turkish manufacturers to the global market. Sales in February show that Turkish manufacturers sold the most products to Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia. In addition to the major cities such as Istanbul, Bursa, Izmir and Ankara, which stand out in this process, cities such as Adana, Gaziantep, Denizli, Aydın, Mersin and Antalya also find their place on the e-export map.
Trendyol’s international expansion strategy focuses on Germany, Azerbaijan, Gulf Countries and Central and Eastern European markets. Thanks to this strategy, Turkish products and manufacturers reach world markets, and especially clothing and fashion products attract great attention. Products such as t-shirts, shirts, dresses, sneakers and pajama sets showcase the quality and diversity of Turkish production in foreign markets.
As of May 2023, it has transformed 85 thousand sellers into trade actors capable of exporting with micro export solutions. In this process, 149 thousand products were delivered abroad, revealing the support the platform provides to local manufacturers and its e-export capacity.
