125 cc Engine Can Now Be Used with a Class B Driving License!

A new amendment to the Ministry of Internal Affairs Highway Traffic Regulations points to an important regulation in the vehicle classes that citizens with a class B driving license can use.

With the new regulation, those with a class B driver’s license will be able to use motorcycles with an engine volume of up to 125 cc, which require a class A1 driver’s license, if they wish.

In order to have this right, the regulation requires having a Class B driver’s license for at least 2 years in terms of experience, meeting the required health conditions, completing the specified driving training and being successful in the practical exam.

In what cases can the new regulation be used?

This new regulation will only be valid for personal use, that is, motorcycles used for commercial purposes will not be included in this application.

In order to benefit from the new regulation, it will be sufficient to add the necessary code to the driver’s license system records. There will be no need to write an extra code on the driver’s license. The regulation contains the following statements on the subject:

“Regarding this situation, the necessary code is added to the driver’s license system records, and the code is not written on the driver’s license, but the persons in question can have their certificates recorded on their driver’s license within 2 years if they wish.
