The Phone Left Charging Rendered the Factory Unusable!

The phone, which was left charging at a packaging factory in Merkezefendi district, first overheated and then exploded. The flames coming out of the device quickly surrounded the entire factory.

Upon the notice of the citizens who noticed the fire, many police, firefighters and medical teams arrived in the area. The factory became unusable after the fire was brought under control as a result of the great efforts of the fire brigade.

While there was no loss of life in the incident, some citizens affected by the smoke were treated at the scene. We should also point out that the police investigation into the incident continues.

Many devices, especially smartphones, may pose a risk of burning or exploding due to malfunctions in the battery or charging cable. Damage to the batteries in question, swelling, or the use of incompatible or knock-off hardware instead of original hardware are among the factors that increase these risks.
