A Feature That Will Turn X into TikTok is Coming

One of the most popular social media platforms in the world Xturned TikTok’s ban in the United States into an opportunity. Platform, a special vertical video section started making it available.

A significant portion of social media users now have a section on the platform that they can use to watch endless videos. This section can be accessed from the video tab at the bottom of the application.

TikTok-Style Vertical Video Section Coming to X

Just like the social media platform TikTokThere is a special video section for vertical videos, as in , but this section is limited to users in the United States for now.

The fact that such a section came right after TikTok was banned in the United States and was only offered to users living in America was considered as X’s attempt to turn the TikTok ban to his advantage.

Until now, X already had the infinite video scrolling feature, but this required opening and scrolling a video on the platform. Since X was not a platform consisting entirely of video, there was no section that was only video.

Thanks to the vertical videos section that came after TikTok was banned, it seems that users will no longer have to search for videos in their feed to watch videos. It is not yet known when X will make this section available for general use, but it is thought that it will not take long for it to be available in other countries.

This move from the X front may not achieve its purpose. Although TikTok is still banned in the USA, Trump announced that he will give TikTok an additional period of time.
