A Rival Is Coming to Google: OpenAI is Developing Its Own Search Engine!

Google is currently engaged in a heated battle with OpenAI. After the launch of the leading search engine ChatGPT, questions containing information are not preferred.

In addition, with the Gemini chatbots, Google waged a great war on the OpenAI front, using all the resources at its disposal.

However, it looks like there will be competition on Google’s own front as well. According to reports, OpenAI may be developing its own search engine.

According to reports, this may be too early information for now. Since things change frequently over time, this claim may also change. Also, if the company is working on a search engine, there is always the possibility of canceling the project.

Developing its own search engine, let alone using ChatGPT to draw users away from Google Search, seems like a direct war on Google.

Google makes most of its money from Search. Google sells ads throughout its Search engine, earning it tens of billions of dollars each year.

Reports indicate that OpenAI will make heavy use of the Bing search engine. This makes sense since OpenAI and Microsoft are very interconnected. There is no doubt that the OpenAI search engine will be powered by Bing, if it ever materializes.

Microsoft Bing struggles to break through 10% of the search engine market. Meanwhile, Google pays billions of dollars every year to be the default search engine on iPhones.
