We need to talk about price at the beginning. The main reason we waited to shoot this video is the price. Because the prices of both cars have become equal. There is a Togg on my right, V2, a long-range model, sold for 1.8 million TL. It was the beginning of July when I shot this video and there are some very good loans, financing in terms of interest is quite successful. On the left is Tesla. Since Tesla is in the 10% bracket, its price range is around 1.8 million TL, plus or minus 102,000 TL. The price of both cars is the same, so I think it’s just the right time to compare.

In terms of design, frankly, my personal opinion is that Togg is more successful than Tesla. The underlying reason for this is that Tesla’s front side is like a bullet because it changes the wind drag coefficient. From the front, if you ask Tesla out of 10, 6 of them sometimes dislike it. There are also those who love it very much. Therefore, this loving thing comes down to personal taste. I’m giving my personal comment: I think Togg looks much better and is more successful than Tesla. Of course, changing the design against the wind friction coefficient brings many advantages. I will tell you what these are later in the video. When it comes to design, Togg looks really imposing. It’s really nice whether you look at it from the front, side or from behind. By the way, when you look at Tesla from behind, it looks really good, but my preference was for Togg.

I move on to another important criterion, battery and range. This place is really valuable. Togg is on my right; Togg’s battery is approximately 88.5 kWh and offers a WLTP range of approximately 523 km with this battery. There is a really big battery and the range is 523 km. When I look at the Tesla on my left, it has a battery of approximately 60 kWh, that is, it is a smaller battery than Togg and the range is 523 km in TOGG, while the range of Tesla Model Y is 450 km. So when it comes to range, the Togg looks much better than the Tesla on paper. Of course, this range depends on the conditions in which you use it. Tesla’s battery is lithium iron phosphate, while Togg’s battery is lithium ion. Both batteries have their own advantages. For example, a lithium iron phosphate battery can be charged up to 180%. If you charge it after 180%, you do not have to worry about the health of the battery; lithium iron phosphate is successful in this regard.

Going back to the issue of battery and range, it is not a subject where we can immediately say, “This much kWh, this one’s this much kWh, it will overwhelm these WLTP values.” Of course, you can charge two cars with these batteries at a much more affordable cost at your home or workplace. Both tools have advantages and disadvantages, and it will be useful to consider these factors when deciding which one is more suitable for you.
