According to the information shared now Ak Portföy Venture Capital Investment Fundsold its shares in Trio Mobil.

Stating that they have a total size of 19 billion dollars, Ak Portföy General Manager Mehmet Ali Ersarı said; “Our mission has always been to break new ground. By establishing Turkey’s first venture capital fund in 2016, we gained significant experience in this field and with this launch, we provided a significant return opportunity to our investors. We also see that international investors believe in Turkish entrepreneurs. “We aim to continue and develop our focus on the venture capital business line,” he said.

In his evaluation, Ak Portföy Deputy General Manager Göktürk Işıkpınar said; “As Venture Capital Investment Funds, the size we manage has reached 100 million dollars. With this transaction, we broke new ground and made the first exit from the first venture capital fund established in Turkey. We continue to receive great interest from both domestic and international investors for our other companies included in this fund we established in 2016.

At that time, we saw the IoT potential of Trio Mobile, a technology company focused on vehicle tracking, in terms of occupational safety and efficiency in industrial areas, and combined with the business and technology development ability of entrepreneurs, initiated a great transformation. “With this strategic move, the company has benefited from expanding growth opportunities by transitioning from the vehicle tracking sector to the industrial IoT field,” he said.
