Android 15 Beta 4 brings many improvements

Although Android 15 Beta 4 published by Google does not bring many new features, it fixes most bugs with the improvements it offers. Thanks to the new update, full integration of applications is allowed for developers, which can be considered a sign that the stable version may be announced soon.

Emoji update is also among the features coming with Beta 4. Google has moved to higher quality and higher resolution emojis by replacing the old PNG-based emoji font with vector-based emojis. This feature, which was previously introduced in Android 13 and made available in Android 14, can now only be implemented on Android devices such as the Pixel series that will use vector graphics.

• Fixed an issue for Pixel Fold devices that prevented users from continuing the Face Unlock registration process when the device was folded and opened.
• Fixed system stability, connectivity, performance, usability and various other camera related issues.
• Fixed a bug that prevented Digital Car Key from performing low-latency scanning when running in the foreground.
• Made a fix for the Android head tracking service to use custom UUIDs instead of the standard HOGP service UUID.
• Use head tracking codec capabilities to detect transport support to the LE Audio stack.
• A fix has been made to prevent Bluetooth pairing requests from being rejected immediately when there is a mismatch between the transport suggested by the API and the transport observed by the Bluetooth stack, potentially increasing pairing success rates.
