Google continues to develop the Android Auto application that makes its cars smart. Thus, trying to improve the user experience, the company made some changes in the interface in its last update. With these changes, the company expanded the scope of the Material You design. So what has changed?
With the Android Auto 13.4 update, Google brought the Material You design language, which is widely used in its own products, to automobiles. With this update, the interface of the application has been updated to adapt to the color palette you have chosen on your phone.
Now Android Auto will adopt the color palette automatically generated from your phone’s wallpaper, presenting many system elements such as buttons, toggles, cards, and menu backgrounds in the same tones. In this way, a more aesthetic and holistic appearance will be achieved between your Android device and Android Auto.
Android Auto 13.4 update has been released for all users. You can check and download it from the Android application store Play Store. However, according to the feedback from users, it seems that the regulation regarding Material You is not fully established yet. So much so that there were complaints that the interface showed colors that were irrelevant to the color palette on the phone. However, Google is expected to solve these problems.
So, what do you think about this issue? How do you like the new Android Auto update? Don’t forget to share your opinions on the subject with us in the Comments section below.
