Announcement Has Been Announced About the Xbox Series S Version of GTA 6

Take-Two President Strauss Zelnick said that Rockstar Games’ highly anticipated game GTA 6 is one of Microsoft’s current generation consoles. That they are not worried about whether it will work on Xbox Series S explained.

Xbox Series S is a technically weaker model of Xbox Series X, and many developers are having serious difficulties optimizing their games for Xbox Series S. Difficulties are experienced especially in games with high hardware requirements. For example, one of the main reasons behind the late arrival of Baldur’s Gate 3 to the Xbox platform was the Xbox Series S. Additionally, the developers of games such as Dune: Awakening also stated that adapting to this console was quite challenging.

GTA 6 will run easily on Xbox Series S

Still, Take-Two doesn’t think it will have any problems running GTA 6 on Xbox Series S, despite such difficulties. During the company’s earnings call, Zelnick said when asked if the Xbox Series S would pose a potential problem for GTA 6’s performance. Rockstar’s experienced team supports platforms with different technology levels. He stated that he is very talented in developing solutions.

Zelnick also emphasized the importance of reaching a wide audience on every platform, noting that the PC platform is a particularly growing market. The PC platform has recently become a platform that includes console exclusive games, and it has been stated that Take-Two will continue to support this platform.

Of course, there is currently no official statement about the PC version of GTA 6. Take-Two does not share any other information other than that they are focusing on the game’s release date in the fall of 2025.
