What does iOS 18 RCS message provide?
With the RCS support that comes with the iOS 18 update, iPhone users can share higher resolution photos and videos with Android users, share larger files, send voice messages, write and see the read sign, send messages via cellular or WiFi, and participate in more advanced group chats.
RCS messaging can be enabled in the Messages section of the Settings app and is on by default. Currently RCS messaging is only supported by certain carriers in the US.
