Apple’s VR headset brings a big innovation

Apple has made visionOS 2 Beta 3, designed for Vision Pro users, available to developers. This new operating system version was developed keeping in mind the requirements of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) devices. Developers can participate in this testing by entering the Software Updates section from the Settings menu and enabling beta updates.

One of the notable new features of VisionOS 2 is the ability to convert 2D photos into 3D photos. Apple states that it developed this feature to add depth to photos and make memories more impressive. This achievement was made possible thanks to the company’s advanced machine learning algorithms.

VisionOS 2 Beta 3 introduces new gestures to activate the main view and control center. In addition, the Vision Pro headset is also compatible with the Bluetooth mouse. Users can personalize the main view and rearrange applications freely. With updates to Travel Mode, trains are now also supported.

Mindfulness practice has also had its share of innovations. The Mindfulness app on Vision Pro offers a more immersive meditation experience by tracking and responding to breathing patterns. Now the guest user profile can be stored for up to 30 days, which can be quite useful for certain users.

Mac virtual displays will support higher resolutions and larger sizes by the end of the year. In addition, Apple Vision Pro will also function as an AirPlay receiver, so content can be shared from iPhone, iPad or Mac.

With VisionOS 2 Beta 3, Apple aims to significantly improve the user experience. These new features and improvements aim to provide Vision Pro users with a richer and more personalized experience.
