Are you ready for the new event of Pokemon Sleep?

Pokemon Sleep‘s Fire Week kicks off today, and with it comes a much larger event focused on the game’s second Legendary Pokemon, Entei. The Entei event will allow players to befriend volcano Pokemon, complete special weekly challenges, earn new items, and receive rewards.

Similar to the Raikou Research Event, Entei will only appear on Green Grass Island. Players will exchange Entei Amber along with the Entei Cake to collect the Entei Sword. Entei Amber will specifically make it easier to attract and befriend Entei compared to previous Raikou Amber such as Raikou Amber and Raikou Brownies. Entei Cakes will increase Entei’s friendship by a greater amount compared to regular Poke Cakes. As the event continues, other Fire-type Pokemon such as Charmander, Charmeleon, Charizard, Vulpix, Ninetales, Growlithe, Flareon, Cyndaquil, Quilava, and Typhlosion will also appear at a higher rate.

To obtain the Entei Sword, players will have to complete special weekly missions that reward the Entei Sword. Entei’s sleeping style will be Felt and his special main skill will be Auxiliary Increase (Fire). Helper Boost (Fire) is activated by having different types of Fire-type Pokemon in your team, which increases the amount of fruits and materials gained through Entei’s Helper Boost. Player-designated Fire Companion Pokemon increase their main abilities by one and three, respectively, in the first and second week of the event.

Entei can also appear in the Orange Pit, but his appearance will be extremely rare. Since Entei and Raikou are both Special Pokemon, players can only have one Special Pokemon active on their team.
