TCL is preparing to take an important step in the technology world with its new television model Nxtframe, also known as A300, at the IFA 2024 fair to be held in Berlin. Nxtframe creates a different atmosphere in homes by turning into an art gallery when not in use. However, the most striking aspect of this television is its sound performance as well as the image quality it offers.
TCL made a radical change in the sound system in the Nxtframe model and decided to use a Bang & Olufsen-designed soundbar and subwoofer instead of Onkyo. In this way, users will experience a superior sound experience that can be personalized with Bang & Olufsen’s BeoSonic software. Kristian Teär, CEO of Bang & Olufsen, states that thanks to this collaboration, they will offer high-level audio experiences to TCL customers and increase the product experience. Additionally, Teär says Bang & Olufsen is committed to expanding its licensing partnerships.
TCL and Bang & Olufsen cooperation will last for six years
Nxtframe stands out as the first product of the six-year agreement with Bang & Olufsen. This collaboration will integrate Bang & Olufsen’s audio technologies into TCL’s high-end television models. Thus, TCL television users around the world will be able to benefit from Bang & Olufsen’s high-quality sound systems. This strategic partnership will strengthen TCL’s market position and elevate users’ television viewing experience.
Nxtframe, introduced in China, will also compete with frame-style television models of other brands such as Samsung. Offered in Turkey with prices starting from 40 thousand TL, The Frame will compete directly with TCL’s new model. However, TCL is expected to overcome this competition with its Bang & Olufsen collaboration and the sound quality it offers.
Samsung’s The Frame models have won the appreciation of users, especially with their Art Store feature. The Frame is a market leader with anti-reflective matte screens added in 2023 and Pantone Verified color accuracy available in 2024 models. However, TCL Nxtframe stands out as an assertive alternative in this field with its Bang & Olufsen sound system. It seems that TCL aims to offer a unique experience to its users by enriching the television viewing experience both visually and auditory.
As a result, TCL Nxtframe is released as not just a television, but also an art gallery and a device that offers a superior audio experience. This model, which will be introduced worldwide at IFA 2024, promises to provide users with both a visual and auditory feast in their homes. This new move by TCL seems to be a candidate to set new standards in television technology.
