Artificial intelligence chatbot integration is coming to Mozilla Firefox

Mozilla continues to take important steps to add more artificial intelligence features to the Firefox browser. In this context, the organization’s latest initiative is an experimental feature developed for the Firefox Nightly version. Users will now be able to add popular AI chatbots such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, HuggingChat or Le Chat Mistral to their browser’s sidebar.

This new feature offers functions such as highlighting text on the web and sending it to the preferred chatbot by right-clicking and summarizing, simplifying language or testing knowledge. According to Mozilla, the use of these chatbots is completely optional and is not integrated into the core functions of Firefox. Those who want to try this innovation will need the experimental Nightly version of Firefox. However, Mozilla warns that caution should be exercised, stating that this version is an “unstable testing and development platform”.

To enable this feature in Firefox Nightly version Ayarlar > Nightly Experiments You need to go to the section and activate the AI ​​Chatbot Integration option. It can then be used by selecting the preferred chatbot.
