Artificial intelligence-supported computers for businesses from Microsoft: Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6

Both devices will begin shipping to commercial customers on April 9.

Surface Pro 10 for Business

The base configuration, which retails for $1199, includes a 256GB Gen4 SSD. This device has two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports and Microsoft’s Surface Connect port for charging.

Surface Laptop 6 for Business

Surface Laptop 6 for BusinessIt has a structure that has been redesigned from the inside out. For the Surface Laptop 6, Microsoft prefers Intel’s Core Ultra H series chips, which aim to offer desktop-class performance. Businesses can choose between Core Ultra 5 135H and Core Ultra 7 165H.

The configuration, which starts at a price of $1199 in the base model, features 64GB RAM and 256GB Gen4 SSD, expandable up to 8GB RAM. Storage space can go up to 1 TB. The 15-inch model features two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports for the first time, as well as a USB-A, a headphone jack, and Microsoft’s Surface Connect port for charging. The smaller 13.5-inch model has only a single USB-C Thunderbolt 4 port, as well as a headphone jack and Surface Connect port.

Although Microsoft did not make any major changes to the screen of Surface Laptop 6, it added an anti-reflective coating. The front-facing camera has also been upgraded to 1080p, but there is no wide-angle camera and so it doesn’t have a wide viewing angle like the Surface Pro 10 for Business.

However, access to Windows Studio effects is provided with background blur and automatic framing during video calls. Microsoft claims that the Surface Laptop 6 will be twice as fast as the Laptop 5 thanks to its Ultra H series processors. There’s also an optional smart card reader in select markets and Microsoft’s new Copilot key for accessing the AI-powered Copilot assistant in Windows 11.

Microsoft will sell both of these devices exclusively to businesses through its own channels and authorized resellers. We will see the consumer versions of Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 at the event on May 20.
