Ubisoft has released Assassin’s Creed Mirage for Apple’s newest iPhone and iPad models. This development shows the increasing power of mobile devices and allows players to now experience AAA quality games on mobile, which they could previously only play on consoles and PCs.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage can be played on iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, and these devices offer high quality graphics thanks to the powerful A17 Pro chip. This chip includes advanced technologies such as hardware-accelerated ray tracing and mesh shading. Additionally, select iPad models equipped with the M1 chip or later, such as iPad Air and iPad Pro, can also run the game.
The play tells the story of Basim, a cunning street thief searching for justice and answers in 9th century Baghdad. After a vengeful act, Basim joins the mysterious group of Hidden Ones. As she discovers secrets and hones her skills with this group, she finds a purpose that will redefine her destiny.
In the mobile version, touch controls are quite intuitive. Additionally, a more familiar console experience is offered with external controller support. However, the download size of the game is quite large. Although it is stated as 5.1 GB on the App Store, the actual download size is reported to be up to 10.21 GB on iPhones and 11.9 GB on iPads. Therefore, make sure you have enough storage space before downloading the game.
Ubisoft is offering a 90-minute free trial for players to experience the beginning of the story. A one-time in-app purchase of $49.99 can be made to unlock the full version. As a launch special, Ubisoft is offering a 50% discount valid until June 20, dropping the price to $24.99.
Regional pricing may vary. For example, in India, with the launch discount, the price will drop to $21, while after the promotion, the price will increase to $42.
