ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) introduced the Zephyrus G16 (2024) GA605 model at Computex 2024. This model, a thin and powerful gaming computer, draws attention with its CNC machined aluminum case. The device has a ROG Nebula OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. This screen offers ultra-smooth visuals with 2.5K resolution, 240Hz refresh rate and G-SYNC compatibility.
Zephyrus G16 is powered by AMD Ryzen 9 HX 370 processor and AMD Ryzen AI XDNA 2 NPU. This combination delivers 81 TOPS of AI performance, providing great speed in photo and video editing, encoding and multitasking. Additionally, it increases efficiency with artificial intelligence-supported Windows Copilot tools.
The computer comes with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X-7500 RAM and supports the latest SD Express 7.0 standard. With these features, it offers an ideal option for creative professionals. Graphics performance is provided by NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU. This GPU offers excellent performance with 321 TOPS of AI power and DLSS 3 support. ROG Smart Cooling system provides thermal management with its liquid metal and three-fan design.
Zephyrus G16 stands out as the first ROG laptop to offer WiFi 7 support. Additional features such as Dolby Atmos sound, Hi-Res certification, two-way artificial intelligence noise cancellation and a long-lasting 90Wh battery are also available. ASUS has not yet announced pricing and availability information.
At the same event, ASUS also introduced TUF Gaming A16 and A14 laptops and ROG Prism Delta 2 gaming headsets. The laptops are equipped with the new AMD Ryzen AI processors and RTX 4070 GPU. The headset offers up to 110 hours of battery life and low-latency 2.4GHz connection.
