Although the recent One UI 6.1.1 update brings many new features to the Galaxy AI artificial intelligence in the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, some users report that it also brings serious problems.
According to the information revealed, after installing the update, device owners claim that their phones enter a boot loop, slow down or crash.
Galaxy S22 series shows crashing and freezing issues
Many users who own the S22 series are complaining on social media about their devices freezing, slowing down, or getting stuck in a boot loop. On the other hand, some other sources say that flagships randomly reboot several times during the day.
The reports started after users installed the update released in September 2024 for the Galaxy S22 series. Complaints also appeared on social media and official Samsung forums.
Interestingly, multiple users claim that they contacted a Samsung authorized representative and were informed that the problem was caused by a faulty motherboard.
Since the Galaxy S22 series was launched, it seems likely that the models will be out of warranty. This will cause the repair to come out of the consumer’s pocket, even if the situation is caused by faulty software.
It’s worth remembering that this isn’t the first time the Galaxy S22 series has encountered update-related issues. When One UI 6.1 was released a few months ago, Samsung had to suspend the rollout of the update for a few weeks to fix some issues after user complaints.
So, have you encountered such an error?
