Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters Association According to (OİB) data, the exports of the Turkish automotive industry in April increased by 2.1 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 2 billion 746 million dollars. The sector, which ranks first in Türkiye’s exports, had a share of 16.8 percent in the country’s exports.
Supply industry exports 1.1 billion dollars
While Germany was the country with the most exports in the Supply Industry, exports to this country decreased by 8 percent. There was a 29 percent increase in exports to the USA, 100 percent to Romania, and 38 percent to Morocco.
While there was a 47 percent increase in exports to France, the country to which passenger cars are exported the most, there was a 17 percent increase in exports to Spain, 82 percent to Germany, 90 percent to the Netherlands, 52 percent to Sweden, and 349 percent to Morocco, which are important markets. There was a 46 percent decrease in exports to Italy, 13 percent to Israel, 22 percent to Poland, and 63 percent to Slovenia.
As for Motor Vehicles for Transporting Goods, there was a 41 percent increase in exports to the United Kingdom, 18 percent to Belgium, 223 percent to the Netherlands, 24 percent to Spain, and a 48 percent export decrease to Slovenia and 50 percent to Italy.
In the Bus, Minibus, Midibus product group, there were very high export increases of 86 percent to France, 264 percent to the USA, 20 percent to Italy and Saudi Arabia.
The biggest market is France, with a 5 percent increase in Germany.
Last month, there was a 51 percent increase in exports to the USA, 50 percent to Romania, 29 percent to the Netherlands, 90 percent to Morocco, while there was a 34 percent increase in exports to Italy, 19 percent to Poland, 17 percent to Belgium and Slovenia. There was a 48 percent decrease in exports and an 11 percent decrease in exports to Russia.
Exports to EU countries decreased by 3 percent
Last April, exports to the European Union countries, which ranked first in the country group with a 66 percent share, decreased by 3 percent to 1 billion 822 million dollars. While Other European Countries ranked second among country groups with a share of 12 percent, exports to this country group increased by 11 percent. A 45 percent increase in exports to the North American Free Trade Area and 19 percent to African Countries was recorded.
