Bayraktar TB3 hit the target accurately in its first firing test!

Bayraktar TB3 SİHA, developed by Baykar, one of the first companies that come to mind when it comes to the defense industry, broke new ground. Bayraktar TB3, the first UAV model in world aviation history to take off and land from a short-runway ship, was armed and managed to hit the target accurately in its first firing test with ROKETSAN’s MAM-T ammunition.

It seems that the armament stages for the Bayraktar TB3 UCAV, which continues to be developed as Baykar’s newest and national device, have reached the final tests. With the statements made by Baykar and the video published, it was announced that the new SİHA hit the target completely with two MAM-T ammunition produced by ROKETSAN from the Baykar Flight Training and Test Center in Keşan, Edirne.

TB3, which is a first in aviation history, managed to hit the target in its first shot with the ASELFLIR-500 Electro-Optical Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Targeting System developed by Aselsan during the firing test process.

According to the statements made, the Bayraktar TB3 UCAV has been in the air for a total of 887 hours and 23 minutes in test flights to date. TB3, whose record is to stay in the air for 32 hours without landing, traveled 5700 km in the sky.

With the tests carried out, ammunition integration tests for the TB3, which is now armed, have started and the tests will continue. In the project, which will proceed according to a certain test schedule, integration for the payload will also be carried out as a development process.
