Best-selling tablet brands (Q2 2024)
TechInsights, which publishes reports for some technology-related sectors, shared global tablet market data for the second quarter of 2024. Thus, the best-selling manufacturers were revealed.
When we look at the report, we see that Apple has taken the lead. The market share of the technology giant, which has shipped 13.5 million shipments, is 38 percent. The annual growth rate is recorded as 17 percent. The US company is followed by South Korea-based Samsung. While this company made sales of 6.9 million, its market share and growth rate were stated as 20 percent and 17 percent, respectively.
Lenovo, with a 16 percent market share, ranks third with 2.5 million shipments. Xiaomi, which attracted attention with the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra electric car it introduced in July 2024, ranked fourth with 2.1 million sales and 6 percent market share. The Chinese technology giant recorded a growth of 138 percent.
On the other hand, Amazon, better known as the e-commerce giant, ranks fifth with 2 million shipments and 6 percent market share. The company fell by 3 percent in the tablet market.
