As Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 approaches its release for PlayStation, Xbox and PC in October, Activision Blizzard dropped a bombshell on players. In the announcement, it was heralded that players will be able to participate in the Black Ops 6 multiplayer open beta to be held in September, and Game Pass subscribers and pre-orderers will have access one week in advance.
When is the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 open beta access date?
Black Ops 6’s multiplayer open beta will start on September 6 and last until September 9, open to all players on all platforms. During this beta period, players will be able to experience the game’s Omnimovement system (the feature of running in all directions), new maps developed by Treyarch, and various team modes. They will also have the opportunity to try loadout creation features with specific weapons, equipment and Perks.

It states that they will be able to use the four Operators in the Hunted pack (Park, Adler, Brutus and Klaus) and five Mastercraft weapons (LR 7.62, Marine SP, Ames 85, Jackal PDW and combat knife).
The publisher adds that it will share more information about Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s campaign, multiplayer and zombie content “in the coming days and weeks.” For those interested in learning more about this year’s Call of Duty installment, you can check out Eurogamer’s Chris Tapsell’s interview with Treyarch.
