Black Shark Ring Offering 180-Day Charging Support Revealed: What is the Price?

The smart ring market continues to grow. Now Xiaomi is entering this market with Black Shark after its smartphones and accessories. Information about Black Shark has been shared on Weibo for a long time and it is finally available for sale in China.

Xiaomi has not yet announced all the details about the smart ring. However, some limited information was shared about the smart ring’s battery life, health-related features and price.

Features and Design of Black Shark

According to posts on Weibo, the Black Shark smart ring will offer 80 days of battery life. Although the company has not announced the battery life for the ring on a single charge, the carrying case will provide a total of 180 days of battery life.

With this battery power, Black Shark is expected to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Galaxy Ring, introduced at MWC 2024, is said to offer five to nine days of use. Among other competitors in the market, devices such as Oura Ring offer up to 7 days of battery life.

Black Shark is only 2.2 mm thick and has a black line running through its center. It is initially available in two color options: Silver and Black & Red. The ring also provides “Smart Touch” functionality.

Black Shark Ring can monitor heart rate, blood oxygen levels, HRV (heart rate variability) and body temperature. The company also states that the ring can track sleep patterns.

It was announced that the price of the Black Shark Ring will be 83 dollars. There is no statement yet on whether it will be available for sale outside of China.
