BMW X3 2024 fourth generation SUV features
The vehicle is 34 mm longer, 29 mm wider and 25 mm lower. Dimensions of the new BMW X3: 4,755 mm length, 1,920 mm width, 1,660 mm height and 2,865 mm wheelbase. This growth makes the interior more spacious and comfortable. Luggage capacity starts from 570 liters and can go up to 1,700 liters with the rear seats folded (in the plug-in version, these values vary between 460-1,600 liters).
One of the striking features of the exterior design is the large kidney grille. This grill optional presented as iconic glow Comes with lighting. The new headlight clusters have an L-shaped light signature and integrate daytime running lights and direction indicators. Matrix LED headlights and M Shadowline lights are available as options. At the rear of the vehicle, the exhaust pipes are hidden in the bumper, only the BMW X3 M50 xDrive model does not have this feature.
The interior has a minimalist and modern design. It has BMW Curved Display, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 14.9-inch infotainment screen. The new SUV has richer equipment than the previous model. Features such as three-zone automatic climate control, acoustic windows, Comfort Access, automatic tailgate and electric folding exterior mirrors are offered as standard.
Additionally, equipment such as BMW Live Cockpit Plus, cloud-based BMW Maps navigation system, wireless smartphone charging, four USB-C ports and 12V sockets are also available. Optionally, the BMW Head-Up Display is also available. The new BMW X3 will be offered only with Mild Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid engine options. Here are the engine options:
- BMW X3 20xDrive: 2-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine, 190 HP power, 310 Nm torque, 0-100 km/h 7.8 seconds, 215 km/h maximum speed.
- BMW X3 M50 xDrive: 3-liter 6-cylinder gasoline engine, 381 HP power, 540 Nm torque, 0-100 km/h 4.6 seconds, 250 km/h maximum speed.
- BMW X3 20d xDrive: 2-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine, 197 HP power, 400 Nm torque, 0-100 km/h 7.7 seconds, 215 km/h maximum speed.
- BMW X3 30e xDrive: Plug-in Hybrid, with 2-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine and electric motor, total 299 HP power, 450 Nm torque, 0-100 km/h 6.2 seconds, 215 km/h maximum speed, 19.7 kWh battery capacity 81-90 km electric range.
The BMW X3 M50 xDrive model is equipped with features such as M Sport suspension, M Sport brakes, 20-inch M alloy wheels and M Sport differential. Optionally, the M adaptive suspension with electronically controlled shock absorbers is also available.
In the Plug-in Hybrid model, the battery supports AC charging up to 11 kW. In this way, the battery can be charged quickly. Safety equipment includes advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) such as forward collision warning, lane keeping assistant and driving assistant.
