Microsoft has now started to offer Copilot+ features that it introduced last year for AMD and Intel processor devices. Copilot+ features, AMD and Intel comes to processors
This move will allow the expansion of the Copilot+ ecosystem and reaching a larger audience. The Copilot+PC program was announced on May 20, 2024 and initially worked only on Snapdragon processor devices.
However, Microsoft will now start to offer Amd’s Strix Point and Crane -based RYZEN AI 300 series for Intel’s Lunar Lake -based Core Ultra 200V models. Intel’s Arrow Lake series also contains NPU, but these processors don’t look strong enough to get a Copilot+PC certificate.
However, Microsoft did not mention AI Max+ support. Although Ryzen AI 300 series and Core Ultra 200V have the same XDNA2 processor, it cannot benefit from these features. Microsoft’s Copilot+PC features; Live Captions, Co-Creator in Paint, Image Creator and Restyle Image, such as advanced artificial intelligence-supported tools.
But the controversial recall software is still not presented, and it remains unclear why Microsoft has not brought back this feature. So what do you think about this? You can easily share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
