According to the latest report by 91mobiles, Samsung has applied for a patent for a new smart ring with the US Patent and Trademark Office. This filing suggests a potential successor to the Galaxy Ring. The first model had a circular design supported by sensors on the inner layer. It is said that Galaxy Ring 2 will have a different design and the embedded sensors will be located on the inside of the circle.

The elliptical or oval design of the new smart ring differs from the traditional circular design. This design may be an attempt to make the ring more ergonomic. The most interesting feature of Galaxy Ring 2 will be that it has two screens. One of these screens will be used to select icons, and the other will be used to show more detailed information.

It is thought that the smart ring model will come with an AMOLED screen. This screen will allow users to better interact with the device, helping them visually track their progress and see notifications. According to the patent application, Galaxy Ring 2 will have many advanced features, including accelerometer, fingerprint and temperature sensors.

The ring is planned to be offered in different sizes to appeal to many users.
