id Software announced its new package that brings together Doom and Doom 2. “Doom + Doom IIThe new game package, named “”, brings many improvements and new content for both iconic productions. We should also note that it is offered with Game Pass.
Doom + Doom 2 bundle released
Doom + Doom II, announced at the QuakeCon 2024 event; brings the two games together in a single package for the first time. Thanks to id Software’s KEX game engine, it also offers 4K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support.
It also promises a multiplayer experience for up to 16 players. Thanks to cross-platform support, you can compete with opponents from different platforms.
In addition to graphical improvements, the pack introduces a number of accessibility options such as customizable fonts, text-to-speech, and speech-to-text for better gameplay. GamePlayers can optionally switch between original music and completely new music. Doom II will also feature some new soundtrack recordings.
A new single-player chapter called Legacy of Rust was created specifically for this pack. This episode, developed in collaboration with id Software, Nightdive Studios and MachineGames, will continue the adventure while adhering to the story.
Doom + Doom II Xbox Series PlayStation 5is available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Windows. It will also be included in Xbox Game Pass subscriptions.
