The “Startup20 Workshop: Global and Regional Perspectives” event was held in the Informatics Valley within the scope of G20’s subsidiary Startup20. Technopark officials, startup representatives, investors, lawyers, public institutions and high-level representatives from six different countries attended the event.
At the event, where Bilişim Vadisi General Manager Erkam Tüzgen made the opening speech, important topics such as “International Cooperation”, “Responsible Artificial Intelligence”, “Tokenization”, “Innovation”, “Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance” and “Investment” were discussed. receipt. In the panel and discussion sessions within the scope of the workshop, the development of the startup ecosystem and how it can contribute to sustainable development goals were discussed. In the sessions where new strategies and projects were discussed, international cooperation opportunities and investment opportunities were also evaluated.
In his opening speech, Erkam Tüzgen drew attention to the importance Turkey attaches to the startup ecosystem and stated that the Startup20 working group and Turkey consider cross-country knowledge and experience sharing, joint work in financial access, and collaborations in the fields of women’s entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship very important.

In the workshop held in a round table format, participants gathered at tables divided into eight different topics and discussed how the entrepreneurial ecosystem can be strengthened both legally and economically by answering three questions posed to them.
Bilisim Vadisi, which represents Turkey on the Startup20 platform, a subsidiary of the G20 forum, of which 19 countries representing a significant part of the world economy, the European Union and the African Union are members, aims to represent the Turkish startup ecosystem more strongly in the international arena with this event.
