DLSS 4 is touted as NVIDIA’s biggest AI model upgrade ever. The feature called Multi Frame Generation for the new generation RTX 50 series GPUs was also among those introduced. This technology allows for each traditionally rendered frame It can increase performance up to eight times by producing three additional frames.
NVIDIA claims that thanks to this feature, the GeForce RTX 5090 model can offer 240 FPS ray-traced gaming experience at 4K resolution. In addition, DLSS 4 offers Ray Reconstruction, Super Resolution and DLAA (Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing) technologies with more stability, less ghosting and higher details on moving objects.
If we look at the games that will be supported, DLSS 4 technology will be available starting from the launch day. In 75 games and apps can be used. Games like Alan Wake 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 will be updated to support the new Multi Frame Generation feature. Additionally, support for games like Black Myth: Wukong is coming soon, while new games like Doom: The Dark Ages and Dune: Awakening will support these features from the start.
