Google introduced two new features for Android users. Call casting ve Internet sharing Cross-device service features make it possible to more easily connect and move calls between devices. In fact, Google announced these two features in May. Now, these features have become available on Android devices.
The first feature offered by Google Call Casting. This new feature allows users to move video calls between devices connected to their Google Account. Thanks to this feature, which is currently only available for Google Meet, the user can transfer a video call from his phone to his tablet or desktop browser. Users will be able to easily move video calls to another device using the Call Casting feature.
Internet sharing Another of the cross-device service features. This feature allows the user logged in to the Google Account to automatically share the internet connection between Android devices and Chromebooks. For users to benefit from this feature, Bluetooth and device location must be turned on. However, Samsung devices do not support this feature and can use the automatic hotspot feature instead.
These new features are currently available in beta on Android devices running version 24.28.34 of Google Play services. We can say that it is compatible with Android 11 and above. This move by Google aims to provide users with a more seamless and integrated experience across devices.
