Google introduced the Pixel 9 series the other day. Pixel 9 managed to attract all the attention with the series consisting of Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL. Thereupon, it was revealed that the Google Pixel 7 series was canceled.
The end of the road for the Google Pixel 7 series
Google has officially discontinued the Pixel Fold foldable device, as well as the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. In this context, the company no longer lists the Pixel 7 family in the “Browse Phones” section of the Google Store.
Pixel 7 and 7 Pro were devices that were released in the fall of 2022 and impressed with their advanced camera performance. It stood out with its powerful features such as the Tensor G2 chipset. However, since they are released in late 2022, they no longer receive sales support.
Google probably thought it was time to stop selling the Pixel 7 family to make way for newer options. In this context, the Pixel Fold model was also removed from the shelves. Support for the device has been discontinued to avoid facing competition from the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
Google also introduced the XL model for the first time with the Pixel 9 series. Pixel 9 Pro XL appeals to users looking for a larger screen; At 6.8 inches, it was Google’s largest model yet. It is also powered by 16GB RAM and 5060mAh battery.
Pixel 7 series will no longer be available from Google. It should be noted that some sellers such as Amazon may sell these models until they run out of stock. Of course, the Pixel 7 family was not officially sold in Turkey.
