Google will make WhatsApp part of Android

Whatsapp is undoubtedly one of the most popular messaging tools in the world. In fact, smartphone users around the world, especially Turkey, see WhatsApp as an application, but as a basic communication tool that should be installed directly when it receives a new phone. Aware of the situation, Google plans to integrate WhatsApp directly into the “messages” application to further improve the user experience.

Google brings WhatsApp to messages application

Google, which wants to improve the user experience by considering WhatsApp’s increasing popularity with each passing day, decided to integrate WhatsApp into messages application. However, what you understand from this sentence is that Google will position WhatsApp instead of applying messages.

The company will integrate WhatsApp’s video speech feature instead of messaging. For example, a person who has texted with a friend will be able to start a BR video search directly via WhatsApp when he touches the camera button on the top right in the chat window.

This feature, which is still in the test phase, works if both users have installed WhatsApp and set up the account. In the scenario that one of the parties does not use WhatsApp, the button will search on Google Meet as it is now.

For now, this feature can only be used in one -to -one conversations. However, when the stable version is released, it is expected to give group interviews to be used. Behind Google’s decision is the complex structure of Meet and a little more professional to address professionals.

The real thing that users want is a complete integration. Many people want WhatsApp to be the default messaging application and thinks messages are unnecessary. However, as far as we know, Google does not have such a plan. Nevertheless, this can be considered as the first step.
