Google for Gemini at Pixel 9 event Gemini Live announced that it has introduced a new voice chat mode called. This feature, available to Gemini Advanced subscribers, is very similar to ChatGPT’s voice chat feature, where multiple voices can be chosen and spoken enough to stop the conversation without tapping a button.
Gemini Live allows users to have in-depth voice conversations with Google’s AI-powered chatbot Gemini on their smartphones. Thanks to an improved conversation engine that delivers multi-round dialogues that Google claims are more coherent, emotionally engaging and realistic, people can interrupt Gemini while the chatbot is speaking to ask follow-up questions, and Gemini adapts to their speech patterns in real time.
With the Gemini app, you can continue talking in the background or when your phone is locked, and conversations can be paused and resumed whenever you want.
Google also has apps for users to choose from with names like Ursa and Dipper. Featuring 10 new Gemini voices. This feature is now available in English only for Android devices. Android users will soon be able to bring Gemini’s overlay over any app they use to ask questions about what’s on the screen by holding down their phone’s power button or saying “Hey Google.”
The company says it will come to iOS in the coming weeks and have more language options. We should point out that the feature in question will also be available on Gemini Android tablets starting this week.
