Quentin Tarantino spoke highly of Joker 2 in a podcast he recently attended and stated that it is a complete Joker movie. Because, according to Tarantino, this was exactly the kind of movie Joker would make. According to Tarantino, the real Joker of this movie was director Todd Phillips, and Phillips made a joke and gave a big middle finger to both the audience and Hollywood, just like the Joker would.

Hideo Kojima Thinks Joker 2 Was Misunderstood

Tarantino’s praising words also received support from Hideo Kojima yesterday. Kojima, who has now winked at the world of cinema with his recent games, also speaks highly of Joker 2.

Sharing a post on the subject on his X account, Hideo Kojima says that Joker 2 has been misunderstood by today’s audience and that it will find its real value 15-20 years later. Pointing out that “poetic heroism” stories focusing on the struggle between good and evil are currently in demand, Kojima thinks that Joker 2 will begin to be appreciated more as the perception of heroism in cinema changes.
