HMD, known as the manufacturer of Nokia branded smartphones, continues its journey with phones bearing its own brand. Addressing the entry segment with the Pulse and Vibe series, the company is now preparing for its mid-segment expansion. Shortly after the images of the Skyline model were leaked, images and first information about the HMD Atlas model have now emerged.
It is said that Atlas may not be the official name of the phone and may remain just a codename. While Full HD + resolution and a large battery are among the main features of Atlas, it is stated that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor will be at the heart of the phone. It is said that 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage will accompany the processor.
5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1 and NFC support are also among the features of the phone. User X, the source of the leak, claims that the Atlas will also have a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Unlike the Pulse and Vibe models, this model will come with a Full HD + screen, as we mentioned above. While it is stated that the refresh rate of the 6.64 inch screen will be 120 Hz, the round hole on the top of the screen will host a 16 megapixel front camera.
A 5-megapixel depth sensor will complement the 48-megapixel main camera. In addition to the high-resolution screen, the arrival of the second camera distinguishes Atlas from HMD’s other phones positioned in the entry segment.
A 5500 mAh battery with QuickCharge 4.0+ support will provide the smartphone with the energy it needs. It is among the leaked information that the phone, with dimensions of 163 x 75 x 8.75 mm, weighs 210 grams on the scale.
How much will you have to pay for HMD Atlas?
HMD Atlas will most likely be sold abroad for $240. Although the green color option of the phone is seen in the leak, it is expected that there will be other options on the list.
