Crest is a 5G phone positioned in the entry segment. At the heart of the smartphone is the Unisoc T760 processor. This processor, produced with a 6 nm design, has four Cortex-A76 and four Cortex-A55 cores. Mali-G57 GPU and 5G modem complete the system.
In HMD Crest, the Unisoc T760 processor is accompanied by 6 GB of RAM. Storage space is 128 GB. The microSD card completes the storage space. In Crest Max, 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage space welcomes users.
Both smartphones have a 6.67-inch Full HD + resolution OLED screen. The screen is protected by reinforced glass. There is also glass protection on the back panel. The phone has an IP52 splash resistance certificate.
In HMD Crest, the depth sensor complements the 50 megapixel main camera. There is also a 50 megapixel camera on the front. The hands-free selfie feature is also waiting for users on the HMD smartphone. Users can take selfies with different hand movements.
In Crest Max, the 64 megapixel sensor acts as the main camera. There is a 5 megapixel ultra wide angle camera and a 2 megapixel macro camera. There is also a 50 megapixel resolution sensor on the front.
A 5000 mAh battery provides both smartphones with the energy they need. This battery has 33W charging support and a 33W charging adapter is also included in the phone’s box. It is also worth noting that Crest and Crest Max have a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
HMD Crest and Crest Max will come out of the boxes with Android 14 installed. The company, which only promised security patches for two years, did not provide additional information about operating system updates.
Both smartphones were developed with an approach that HMD calls “Gen 1 repairability”. This means that the screen, battery, charging port and back panel can be easily replaced at home.

HMD Crest and Crest Max will be available in India in August. You have to pay 14500 rupees (5732 TL) for Crest and 16500 rupees (6523 TL) for Crest Max.
