Honor will introduce its new foldable phones, Honor Magic V3 and Magic Vs3, in China on July 12. The brand announced the design and color options, but no official statement has been made about the technical specifications yet. Some details of the Magic V3, which is stated to be thinner and lighter than the previous model Magic V2, have been revealed thanks to new leaks. It is worth remembering that the Magic V2 weighs 231 grams and is only 9.9 mm thick when folded.
According to new leaks, the Magic V3 comes with a 5,200mAh battery capacity, which is 200mAh larger than the Magic V2. Despite this, the thickness of the device has been reduced to 9.7 mm and its weight is determined as 226 grams. Magic V3 will be released in four color options: black, brown, white and green. The device stands out with its metal frame and IPX8 water resistance rating.
The rear camera setup comes with a 50 megapixel main camera and optical image stabilization (OIS) support. Although there is no definitive information about the ultra-wide-angle lens, it is rumored that the device will have a periscope telephoto camera that offers 3.5x optical zoom. Its large battery supports 66W fast charging and wireless charging. It is also stated that Magic V3 will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and will have features such as x-axis linear motor and satellite communication.
Although there is no definitive information about Magic Vs3, the device is expected to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It is claimed that it will be offered in black, white and green color options.
While these new foldable phones improve the user experience with their lighter and thinner structures, they also attract attention with their large battery capacity and fast charging features. Honor’s new models create high expectations in terms of design and performance.
