NVIDIA clarified the performance details of the new generation RTX 50 series graphics cards at the Editor’s Day event held within the scope of CES 2025.
In the first introduction of the series, which includes the RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti and 5070 models, at CES 2025, only performance comparisons with DLSS 4 were included.
RTX 50 series performance increases
- RTX 5090: 30% increase in native ray tracing (RT) performance compared to RTX 4090
- RTX 5080: 15% better performance than RTX 4080
- RTX 5070 Ti ve RTX 5070: A 20% increase compared to RTX 4070 Ti and RTX 4070
Although NVIDIA’s DLSS 4 (Multi-Frame Generation) technology, which promises at least a two-fold performance increase, attracted attention with its artificial intelligence-supported frame creation and upscaling features, end users were also curious about the raw performance of these cards.
According to the performance results provided by NVIDIA, the RTX 50 series provides a big leap forward compared to the Ada generation. Features such as Neural Rendering and RTX Fur are among the innovations that will shape the gaming experience of the future.
When will the RTX 50 series be released?
- RTX 5090 ve RTX 5080: It will be on the shelves on January 30, 2025, with price tags of $ 1,999 and $ 999, respectively.
- RTX 5070 Ti ve RTX 5070: It will be on the shelves in February with price tags of $ 749 and $ 549 respectively.
