Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO Richard Yu was recently spotted using the company’s upcoming triple foldable phone. The image in question gave an important idea about the large foldable screen of the device. Richard Yu has now been spotted using the phone folded.
It should be noted that due to the triple foldable design, the device is thicker compared to other foldable phones, but it does not look overly bulky. The thickness is expected to be around 5 mm when the phone is opened and 15 mm when folded. The rear camera uses a circular, curved module similar to the design of the Mate 50 series and appears to be surrounded by Paris protrusions.
Previous leaks have shown that the phone has an inward-folding, out-folding and double-hinged design. The screen is expected to be around 10 inches and have a centrally placed camera hole on the far left. The device will come with a Kirin 9 series processor and will most likely become official before the Mate 70 series, which will be introduced in the last quarter of the year.
Famous newsmaker Digital Chat Station also claimed that Huawei will hold a big event in China in September and introduce this phone. It is also claimed in the same post that the company may unveil the Nova 13 series and Watch GT 5 smart watch at this event.
Under what name will Huawei present its new foldable phone?
No information has yet been leaked about the name under which Huawei will launch its new foldable phone. However, as we get closer to September, it will not be a surprise to encounter information on this subject.
